"I have known Carole Lee for 10 years. She is a dedicated highly qualified and ethical educator and leader. Her own educational background gives her the tools and skills to target and drive change. I have never met anyone who can READ stats/numbers and SEE students and educators the way Carole does. Carole Lee has her finger on the pulse of the Fontana community and its needs, and is a consummate and dedicated Fontana girl. She is ready, willing, and extremely able to step up and represent her community on the Fontana School Board. Help make that happen!"

Sallie Paul, Retired Educator

"What do you say about FUSD supporting one of its own, a teacher (soon to be retired) who has worked in our district for many years? Carole Lee is that person. She is one of us. That's one BOE vote for Kelley and me. What about you?

Eddy Neighbors, Retired Fontana Educator and Parent of a Fontana Student

As a teacher, I have had no better mentor and role model than my mother, Dr. Carole Lee. Her mentorship and support throughout my life helped me to achieve my own goal of becoming a teacher. My mother never waivers from her commitment to children, and ensuring their success. Her mission has always been to support every student in achieving his or her greatest potential. No matter what challenges are thrown in her path, she maintains dedication and enthusiasm for our profession. Your vote for Dr. Carole Lee is a vote in support of students.

Michele Lee, Kindergarten Teacher, Fontana U.S.D.

"I have great honor, respect, and admiration for Dr. Lee as my former supervisor, and ongoing mentor and research colleague. Carole’s support of her colleagues is always in the context of, “how can we go from this point?” and “what is best for students?” Her approach with a diverse group is informed but not forceful or overbearing—especially with classified staff and parents. She encourages everyone to express their ideas and experiences, and asks insightful questions to better elicit information and to promote construction problem solving."

Paul S. Gale, Ph.D., President, IFlex Evaluations

Carole Lee's greatest strength is her passion and belief that ALL students CAN and WILL learn. Her skill set would be a huge asset to FUSD's school board because not only can she support policy decisions that are in the best interest of students, her knowledge and depth with instruction will always be the key to increasing student achievement. As a national speaker on reform of public schools, I believe Carole Lee's leadership will be the change needed to prepare all students to be successful in their future.

Gary D. Soto, President, Action Learning Systems

"I have known Dr. Carole Lee for over 20 years. She is an educator who is dedicated to the success of all students, and her dedication is consistently evident in every area of her performance. She exemplifies the standards and qualities that both parents and we in education honor. During the years that we worked together, I had the opportunity to observe a professional meet every challenge and responsibility with expertise, common sense and enthusiasm. She is particularly skilled at working with colleagues and parents because of the relationships she builds with others. She also has a solid foundation in curriculum, instruction, assessment and evaluation. Carole Lee is an outstanding educator, and she is uniquely qualified to be a board member in the Fontana Unified School District, where she has served as a volunteer, aide, teacher and educator for her entire career."

Katharin Jeide, Principal, Lugonia Elementary, Redlands U.S.D.

As Superintendent of the Fontana Unified School District, I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dr. Carole Lee for nearly two decades She first came to my attention because of her acknowledged expertise and success as a special education teacher. The site leaders with whom she worked quickly identified her leadership potential and supported her in applying for numerous teacher-leader roles. Because of her doctoral level training, combined with her skill in working with both students and adults, she quickly became a candidate for district level leadership roles. As a district level administrator, Dr. Lee provided on-going analysis of our educational and intervention programs by directing and monitoring our district and state assessment programs. Carole also provided meaningful staff development to site staffs, and she facilitated evaluation of district and site grants. Dr. Lee’s personal characteristics include a quiet, thoughtful and caring demeanor. She is a total team player who relies on the relationships she builds with staff, parents and community members to collaborate toward improving student achievement and success. Over the course of her career, she has demonstrated her commitment to students, and to the community. In short, I have the greatest respect and regard for Dr. Lee and recommend her without hesitation for the role of a school board member. Dr. Lee is an asset to the entire Fontana community.
