As your School Board Member for the Fontana Unified School District, I will:
Support high levels of student learning and success by providing the highest quality educational programs possible, ensuring the success of every student including those with special needs.
Evaluate current programs, including core instruction, intervention, and after school programs to continue evolving towards the most effective educational system we can provide.
Implement strategies to improve the safety and cleanliness of our schools and ensure that we provide healthier, more nutritional food selections and opportunities for daily physical activity.
Expect that every staff member is accessible to parents and the community, and that each person is held accountable for performing their duties with character, integrity and accountability.
Collaborate with students, parents, staff and the community to provide effective core curriculum and career-orientated electives that prepare students for work, college and life after school.
Strive for developing a budget that is legal in every respect, and that delivers the education our students deserve while staying within our fiscal means.
Foster school and district culture that develops positive school spirit, high attendance levels, and unites our students and entire community, promoting unity in our mission by offering a variety of culturally orientated activities to eliminate stereotypes and biases.
Value your beliefs, opinions, comments, and concerns for your children and our community when making decisions based on our students’ needs.
